JAN. 24
Stephen Pearcy, founder and lead singer of RATT, is a pioneer of the ’80s Sunset Strip rock scene. Forming RATT in 1982 from his previous band Mickey RATT, Pearcy led the group to multi-platinum success with hits like “Round and Round” from their 1984 album Out of the Cellar. With eight albums and over 20 million records sold, RATT’s rebellious image and Pearcy’s salacious vocals defined an era. Beyond RATT, Pearcy launched solo projects, starred in films, and authored the bestselling memoir SEX, DRUGS, RATT ‘n’ ROLL. His legacy as the original “Wanted Man” endures, captivating fans old and new.
Vixen, the groundbreaking all-female hard rock band, rose to fame in the late ’80s with hits like “Edge of a Broken Heart” and “Cryin’”. Founded by guitarist Jan Kuehnemund, the band’s classic lineup included Janet Gardner, Roxy Petrucci, and Share Ross. Vixen sold over 2 million albums and earned six #1 videos on MTV, touring with legends like Ozzy Osbourne and KISS. Despite lineup changes and Kuehnemund’s passing in 2013, Vixen rocks on with Britt Lightning and new vocalist Rosa Laricchuita. The band continues to deliver electrifying performances, keeping their legacy alive.
